November 21, 2024, Valencia, Spain, At Curapath, we believe that a fair, inclusive, and diverse workplace is the foundation for innovation and collective well-being. In alignment with this belief, we are proud to announce the official approval and publication of our Gender Equality Plan (GEP), a key milestone that reinforces our long-term commitment to equity at all organizational levels.
Our team: balanced, young, and dynamic
With a team of more than 90 professionals and an average age of 34 years, we are proud to represent a workforce that is both diverse and vibrant. Currently, 52% of our employees are women and 48% are men, reflecting a balanced gender distribution across the organization.
Promoting a culture of equity through training
Understanding that education is a cornerstone for change, we’ve dedicated significant efforts to raise awareness and build competencies around equality and inclusion. In the past year alone, our team has completed a total of more than 150 hours of training in gender equality and inclusion topics. These initiatives included:
- A course on sexual harassment protocols and LGBTI community management
- Training on LGBTI Diversity Management in the Workplace
- An in-depth course on Equal Opportunities and Work-Life Balance
These sessions are just the beginning, our plan foresees continuous training for leadership and staff alike to maintain inclusive practices in recruitment, promotion, and daily interactions.

Addressing challenges, strengthening representation
At Curapath, gender balance is not only evident across our overall workforce, it’s also reflected in our leadership. Women and men are both represented among heads of departments and management roles, reaffirming our belief that leadership potential knows no gender. This balanced structure is a direct result of our commitment to inclusive talent development and unbiased promotion practices.
Our Gender Equality Plan reinforces this approach by ensuring that access to professional growth remains fair, transparent, and based on merit, while continuing to monitor and promote balanced representation at all levels of the organization.
Key commitments of the GEP
Our Plan outlines strategic and measurable goals across various priority areas, such as:
- Ensuring equal access to opportunities, regardless of gender or family circumstances
- Improving transparency in promotions and compensation
- Establishing inclusive communication guidelines and non-sexist language protocols
- Promoting work-life balance through flexible measures and formalized support policies
- Fostering a safe and respectful workplace, with clear protocols against harassment or discrimination
A living document, for a better future
The GEP is not just a document, it’s a living roadmap that will evolve with us. We’ve implemented a monitoring system to assess progress annually and adjust our strategies based on feedback from our team. From salary equity audits to internal promotion tracking, we are building a more equitable company, step by step, action by action.

Together, towards true inclusion
This Gender Equality Plan reflects the collective voice and effort of everyone at Curapath. By fostering an inclusive environment where all people — regardless of gender identity or background — can thrive, we are not only building a stronger company, but a better future for our industry and society at large.
Let’s continue walking this path — together.
